WHAT IS YOUR APPROACH TO DOG TRAINING?
We believe in a balanced approach to dog training. Basically, this means we believe in rewarding and praising a dog for doing the right thing, but that it’s also important to let them know when they are doing the wrong thing. We believe in the importance of praise, building confidence in dogs and preventing bad behaviors from happening.
WHICH OF YOUR SERVICES IS RIGHT FOR ME?

IS MY DOG TOO OLD TO BE TRAINED?
No! Age does not matter! The longer a dog has been behaving a certain way or lived certain routines does take time to fix. You will not always see these issues go away overnight with an older dog. It will take a lot of dedication and change from the owner.
WHAT METHOD OF PAYMENTS DO YOU TAKE?
We take cash, check, Venmo & credit card payments. Payments must be made in full at the time of service. We do not offer payment plans.
WHAT TRAINING TOOLS MIGHT YOU USE?
We use many tools as each dog is different and we tailor our training to them! We use a lot of food, treats and praise as rewards. We also really believe in play and rewarding your dog with toys. You may find we recommend things like slip leads, prong collars or ecollars as well. We will never force you to use a tool you aren’t comfortable with and will always take as much time as needed to explain why or how we recommend doing something.
WHAT’S THE BEST WAY TO START?
The first thing you’ll need to do is schedule a consultation! This can be over the phone or in person. We firmly believe it’s important for you to find a trainer that you feel comfortable with. Let’s get to know each other and make sure we are a good fit before we start!
HOW LONG WILL I NEED TO DO TRAINING FOR?
Training is never over! Training is a lifelong journey for every dog. The length of time sessions are needed depend on each dog and how much effort the owners are putting in outside of working with us. Our goal is to give you the skills to be able to continue your training journey on your own. We understand that issues may resurface or arise after training, which is normal. We will help work on getting your dog back on track no matter how much time has passed since our last training.
